Clearwater is the largest city in our north-Pinellas service area and the most varied. It stretches from the Gulf beaches on the west — Clearwater Beach and the Memorial Causeway crossing onto a barrier island built for tourism — all the way east through Countryside, Coachman Park, and the corridors along US-19 and Drew Street. Rentals span every type, and what you'll pay depends a lot on where in Clearwater you're looking.
The two ends of the city behave like different markets. West Clearwater — beach-adjacent neighborhoods, Island Estates, downtown around the new Coachman Park — skews coastal, walkable, and pricier per square foot. East Clearwater — Countryside, Northwood Estates, the neighborhoods near Countryside Mall — is residential, family-focused, and tends to offer more single-family value with bigger lots. Countryside High and the surrounding schools draw families, and the proximity to the Tampa-Pinellas corridor via the Courtney Campbell makes Clearwater a practical pick for two-bay-city couples.
Most of our Clearwater rentals are single-family homes in the 2- to 4-bedroom range, plus a steady supply of condos in the high-rises along the Intracoastal and around downtown. Pinellas County Schools cover the whole city, and the Pinellas Trail runs north-south through the eastern half if you cycle or run. ZIPs 33755-33767 all fall within city limits.

East Clearwater's largest neighborhood, anchored by Countryside Mall and Countryside High. Mostly single-family on quarter-acre lots, a handful of villa communities, and direct access to the Courtney Campbell into Tampa.
Built on a man-made island just before the Clearwater Beach bridge. Mix of canal-front single-family, mid-rise condos, and townhomes. Premium pricing — you're paying for boat access and the beach walk.
Downtown Clearwater is in the middle of a long redevelopment around the new Coachman Park amphitheater. Mostly mid-rise condos and a handful of older single-family pockets — best fit for renters who want walkable downtown access.
Wide range. East-side single-family typically runs $2,200-3,500 for 3-bedroom. Beach condos can be anywhere from $2,500 for a 1-bedroom up to $5,000+ for waterfront 2- or 3-bedroom units. We post current pricing on each listing or you can call (727) 943-9500.
If you'll actually use it, yes — beach access is 24/7 and you skip the parking battles tourists deal with. If you only go to the beach occasionally, east-Clearwater value usually wins (you're still 15 minutes from sand).
Pinellas County Schools. Countryside High, Clearwater High, and Largo High (some neighborhoods feed there) are the main high schools. Elementary and middle zones vary — we'll confirm before you sign.
Most of our Clearwater rentals welcome pets with a deposit. Beach-condo HOAs sometimes restrict size or breed — each listing notes the policy, and we can pull the HOA rules before lease signing if you want to verify.
Courtney Campbell to Westshore is ~30 minutes off-peak, 45-55 in rush. To downtown Tampa add 10-15 more. The Veterans Expressway (north Clearwater) is a faster shot to north Tampa / the airport.
